Your four-year degree qualifies you for a Short-Call Substitute License. Follow the simple steps below to get licensed and start subbing!
How to Get Started (3 Simple Steps):
- Get Your License:
- Visit the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) website to apply.
- You will need to provide: Proof of your bachelor's degree, background check and fingerprints.
- Apply for the Job:
- Once PELSB issues your license, apply for the substitute teacher job vacancy in the district.
- Start Subbing
Retired Anoka-Hennepin teachers only: You do not need to complete the online application - call Employee Services at 763-506-1100 (option 4).
